Fox Micro Swinger Review

Fox Micro Swinger                   £14.99 RRP

The new version of the original Swinger has been re-designed for fans of compact indicators. Featuring a shorter stainless arm, re-styled attachment facility, re-styled swinger head and the latest low friction line gate mechanism, it’s the neatest swing arm indicator on the market.

I particularly like the sliding weight on the bar, this allows me to change the weight of my bobbins without having to screw in new bits or remove sections.

On a summers day I can set the indicators as light as possible, for maximum indication, but if a breeze starts kicking up I can slide the weight to the swinger head end and have a nice heavy bobbin.

There is room for an isotope, so at night it will be an easy process judging which rod is belting off, this has been a real help on many occasions, as when you're a bit bleary eyed you might strike into the wrong rod.

The price is terrific for what you get, they aren't a horrible and cumbersome bobbin like many on the market, and more than adequately do their job.

Similar models, with a heavier sliding weight for those who like to fish at extreme range abroad, are available from Fox too, but at a much heftier some.

The Fox Micro Swinger is available in four different colours; blue, red, yellow and green, so whether you want different swingers on each rod or a matching set, you can do so, and at a good price.

I've had mine for a while now, and they have performed consistently well in every session. So
for those who like to be versatile, and for those who like the look of a neat and tidy swinger system, then these babies really are for you.
